Our vision is that work creates well-being for workplaces, individuals and society as a whole. That is why we at the Institute of Occupational Health promote occupational health, i.e. the ability and potential of work communities and individuals to cope with the various situations of a changing working life.
We are a nationwide organisation with five offices in Helsinki, Kuopio, Oulu, Tampere and Turku.
The Institute operates under the management and supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The Institute participates in the activities of international organisations and the European Union as an expert in occupational health and well-being at work.
