Organisation
Rovakaari Environmental Health Services is the environmental health services cooperation district for the municipalities of Rovaniemi, Ranua, Pello, Ylitornio and Kolari. Rovaniemi’s Environmental Committee is responsible for organising environmental health services in the district.
Environmental health services maintain and promote the health of both humans and animals.
Environmental health services include:
- environmental health control (such as health protection, food control, tobacco control)
- veterinary services
- animal welfare
