75+ VoiTas - heavy exercise groups for strength and balance training

In the VoiTas heavy exercise groups that are free-of-charge, beginners over the age of 75 improve their fitness through strength and balance training. You train at the gym twice a week for eight weeks. The training aims at improving the muscle strength of your legs in particular. Increased muscle strength helps to improve your functional capacity, making everyday chores and mobility easier.

Register for the VoiTas heavy exercise groups either online or by phone. See class times and sign up.

To whom and on what terms

The groups are specifically for you if:

  • You have noticed mild or emerging mobility challenges, but you can easily move indoors without mobility aids.
  • You live independently at home without regular home care services.
  • You want to increase physical activity in your everyday life.
  • You are ready to commit to the group and continue exercising after the course.
  • You have not previously participated in a VoiTas heavy exercise group.

We also have other options if the VoiTas heavy exercise group is not suitable for you.
