You can order a boundary demonstration if the boundary markers on your plot have disappeared or the boundary of the plot is unclear. The boundary demonstration is an informal indication of the boundaries of the plot. You may need a demonstration e.g. if you are planning to build a fence or for yard work.

Background information
When property boundaries are determined, a measurement operation is carried out to point out where the boundary of the plot or other registry unit is located in the terrain.
New border markers cannot be built in connection with determining property boundaries. Determining property boundaries does not affect the information in the cadastre and the determination of property boundaries is not registered. If a border marker has disappeared, a boundary demarcation survey is required. A boundary demarcation survey is a land survey procedure.
