Early childhood education and care services in Sipoo work together with the parents to support the growth and learning of children living in Sipoo.

The children are offered free of charge pre-primary education during the year before primary education.

There are 14 day care centres in Sipoo. They provide day care services in Finnish and Swedish.

In family day care, children under school age are cared for at the home of the family day care provider.

In Sipoo, nonstandard early childhood education and care (ECEC) is organized at the Kartano day care centre (Kartanon päiväkoti).

Open ECEC activities provide early childhood education and care for children in home care.

Families may also apply for a day care place at a private ECEC provider.

Supplementary day care is available in the morning before pre-primary education begins and in the afternoon after pre-primary education is over.
