Reporting during the transition period of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism

During the transition period of the CBAM (from 1 October 2023 to 31 December 2025), you must report on the import of CBAM goods to the European Commission’s register. The reported information should include, for example, the quantity of imported goods, the origin of the goods, and the amount of greenhouse gas emissions from their production.
