Do the following

  • Take into account other skiers.
  • Ski on the right side. Ski past others on the left side.
  • Keep enough distance to the skier ahead.
  • Follow the assigned skiing direction.
  • The faster gives way to the slower, and the lone skier gives way to those skiing in line.

  • Do not change lanes when going downhill.
  • Have your breaks off the trails.

The ski trails are meant only for skiers

  • It is prohibited to walk on ski trails.
  • A ski trail refers to an area that is prepped for skiing. In addition to traditional ski trails there is a flat area prepped for freestyle skiing.
  • The prohibition is based on law, which requires the trail maintainer to take responsibility for the security of the trail. Walking on the ski trails destroys the grooves and can cause dangerous situations.
