At Hemma, gentle home care is always planned according to the client’s individual needs and wishes. Service needs are assessed during a free consultation visit, and the plan can be updated if the life situation changes.
Gentle home care may include regular visits a few times a month or more frequently as needed. Each visit allows time to pause and meet the client without hurry.

Gentle home care can be purchased privately or with a service voucher, depending on the decision of your wellbeing services county.
To whom and on what terms
Gentle home care is intended for anyone who needs support with daily tasks at home or outside the home.
The service can be provided VAT-exempt if the client has a functional limitation that prevents managing the services independently. Eligibility for VAT exemption does not depend on age but is assessed by a professional during the consultation visit.
The service is eligible for a household tax credit in accordance with the Finnish Tax Administration’s guidelines, if paid privately. Please note that the credit cannot be claimed for the same work if it is covered, for example, by a service voucher. In addition, clients may apply for a service voucher from their wellbeing services county to cover the costs, depending on local practices.
