  • Public service

There are 20 skating rinks available in the parks located in the central area of the Rovaniemi city.

The skating rinks are freely accessible to all city residents and there are no scheduled time slots for use.

Hockey goals are brought to some of the rinks once the ice is safe and suitable for skating.

The local skating rinks are intended for learning to skate and for practicing how to play ice ...

Do the following

Local Ice Skating Rinks are freely available for everyone to use. There is no limit on the number of users.

The ice surface on the skating rink is not perfectly smooth. Please be cautious and take into consideration the weather conditions. Sunlight, warmth and rain can quickly soften and melt the ice.

For emergencies, there is an information board in a visible location at the skating rink. The board contains the necessary details for calling for help.

If you notice a broken hockey goal or vandalism at the rink, please check the contact details of the maintenance provider on the rink’s information board and report your observation.

You can provide feedback about the condition of the skating rink and any faulty lighting primarily through the City of Rovaniemi's feedback service.
