  • Permit or other obligation
  • 5 municipalities
  • Public service

Any sudden degradation of the environment or risk of such degradation must be immediately reported to the municipal environmental protection authority or to the emergency response centre. The situation can be caused, for example, by an accident, an unanticipated production failure, or the dismantling of a structure.

Do the following

Notify the municipal environmental protection authority or the emergency response centre immediately of any sudden pollution of the environment or danger of such.

If the activity is based on a permit granted by a State authority, submit the notification to the authority that granted the permit. Otherwise, submit a notification to the municipality’s environmental authority. Also submit a notification in situations that do not require a permit.

After the notification, prepare for rapid cooperation with the authorities in order to manage the situation.
