Notification of the amount of by-products used as carrions

The carrion keeper must notify the municipal veterinarian three times a year of the by-products taken to the carrion feeding site and their amount.

The carrion keeper must notify the Turku Environmental Health Care monthly of the by-products taken to the carrion feeding site and their amount.

Do the following

  • Use the form “Form for reporting by-products” on the Finnish Food Authority’s website to report the amount of by-products taken to carrion.
  • Submit the completed form to Turku’s Environmental Health Care by email. Their address is ymparistoterveys@turku.fi

You must submit a notification even if you have not delivered any by-products to carrion during a certain period of time.

To whom and on what terms

If the operator has established itself in another country in the European Economic Area and temporarily offers services in Finland, the same notifications are required as from operators established in Finland.
