Companies that buy fish or fisheries products manufactured by a fisher directly from the seaside fisherman must submit a notification of the bought and/or taken over lot of fish to the Economic Development Centre of Southwestern Finland.

If your turnover is over EUR 200,000, the buyer must submit the notification of purchase and/or takeover in an electronic format within 24 hours.
A registered buyer whose turnover is under EUR 200,000 may also voluntarily submit the notification of purchase or takeover in an electronic format.
The registered buyer must authorise a person to have access to the electronic purchase notification system (KAKEWEB), in order to make and submit notifications.
Other operators: Submit your notification within 48 hours. Fill in the printable form (Notification of the purchase of fish) and send it to the registry of the Economic Development Centre for Southwest Finland by submitting it as an attachment to the general online form.
If it is not possible to use the online form, you can use a printable form. Submit the form to the Economic Development Centre for Southwest ern Finland by post, e-mail, or in person.
To whom and on what terms
In order to use the electronic service, the registered buyer must authorise the user to make the notifications of purchase and takeover, for the purpose of granting access rights to the electronic purchase notification system (KAKEWEB). Usernames are personal and all notifications in the service are submitted on behalf of the company.
A notification in paper (Notification of the purchase of fish) must be signed by the person authorised by the operator.
