The Digital and Population Data Services Agency enters data on prenuptial agreements in the register of prenuptial matters. You can request a register extract and a copy of the registered prenuptial agreement if you no longer have the original agreement document. Do the following
- Order a copy of your prenuptial agreement with the online form. To use the online form, you will need online banking codes or a mobile certificate.
- If your prenuptial agreement was registered before 1 March 2003, request the copy from the district court that registered it.
- We will send the copy to your Suomi.fi Messages inbox. This way, you will get it as soon as possible. If you have not activated the service, you will receive the copy by paper mail. When submitting your application, you can also choose encrypted e-mail as the delivery method.
- You will receive a separate invoice.
- If you want to know whether your prenuptial agreement has been registered, contact us with the online form. If the agreement is not found in the register, you will not be charged a fee.
