A peer support couple provides support quickly and free of charge for couples experiencing a relationship crisis or facing a challenging situation. A peer support couple is a trained volunteer couple who walk alongside others, with their key roles being listening, encouraging, and instilling hope. Another couple can often offer new perspectives on problems.

To whom and on what terms
Peer support is intended for couples. Both partners' commitment to working through the crisis is more likely to lead to lasting changes in the relationship. A peer support couples support is not suitable as the primary form of help if the relationship involves issues such as addictions, violence, or untreated mental health problems.
The service is free of charge, and a peer support couple is usually available within about a week.
