Residence permit application for remigration

Apply for a residence permit with this application if you belong to the people evacuated from Ingria to Finland in 1943 or 1944 and returned to the Soviet Union after the war or you served in the Finnish army during the period of 1939–1945.
Do the following
- Make sure you meet the requirements for the residence permit you are applying for.
- Make sure you have all the attachments needed for the application and that they are up to date. If necessary, have them translated and legalised.
- Fill in your application.
- Pay for your application at a Finnish mission (embassy or consulate).
- Book an appointment to visit a Finnish mission (embassy or consulate) to prove your identity.
- Wait for a decision abroad. The Finnish Immigration Service will contact you if necessary.
Period of validity
The permit is valid for a fixed time.
