You will receive treatment in the acute internal medicine unit for sudden illnesses that require specialized medical care, such as:
- sepsis and general infections
- ketoacidosis
- intoxications
- acute renal failure
- acute heart failure
Patients come to us mainly through the emergency department or as a transfer from another care units.

Service hours
Visiting hours are Monday–Sunday 2 pm to 6:00 pm. We wish for short visits to the intensive monitoring rooms of no more than 2 visitors at a time.
