Jukka’s Trail (Vuosaari hill)

Explore the special nature of Vuosaari hill on two nature trails with a total of 13 nature information boards. The nature trails are located in the eastern part of Vuosaari hill, in the soil fill area. The nature trails begin and end at the same point below the pass. There are signs from the main entrance to sign 1 of the nature trails, which is 800 metres away.

Accessibility information

There are no parking spaces marked as accessible in the parking area. The information board about the nature trail is less than 50 m away and can be seen in the parking area. The surface of the parking area is stone ash.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 20 m from the information board.
The nature trail is partly one-way, partly circular. The length of the route is about 1,2 km.

There are more than 10 information boards along the nature trail.
There are signposts at central crossroads of the route. The route is marked with a logo or sign affixed to poles.
The nature trail is hard all the way but partly uneven (bumps). The surface of the passageway is in part fine crushed rock, stones and roots.
The route contains narrow places where wheelchairs or strollers cannot fit through.
The route has steep hills, the largest of which has 20 meters or more height difference from bottom to top (steepest angle of ascent more than 30 %).
There are stairs on the walkway. The longest stairs have 30 steps or more, with handrails on both sides.
Along the nature trail, there are rubbish bins and and a rest stop with benches and tables for taking a break. The benches are sized for adults.
