Service location

The local exercise place in Lassila sports park is a diverse and comfortable sports facility that is easy to reach and free to use. The local exercise complex has a straight running track (60 m), a trampoline and a motorics obstacle course, exercise equipment, climbing equipment and a mini arena (10x20 m).

There are two entrances to the neighbourhood sports area. The neighbourhood sports area is extensively lit.
There is a disabled toilet and changing rooms in the spors parks maintenance building. Barrier free entry to the maintenance building is located at the end of the building where there is a gentle slope.
The neighbourhood sports area has four benches with backrests, and a table accessible to wheelchair users.
The neighbourhood sports area has 2 fenced arenas and 2 playing fields.
The neighbourhood sports area can be used for playing football, playing basketball, training on a technique track, exercising athletics, walking a dog, outdoor fitness training equipment.
The route to all activity locations is smooth and sufficiently wide. In most locations, the floor of the location has a significant contrast in shade to the environment.
Football can be played on a fenced arena with a artificial turf surface, which has a sufficient contrast in shade to its environment. The arena is surrounded by a high wall with an openable gate more than 90 cm wide.
Basketball can be played on a field with a asphalt surface, which has a sufficient contrast in shade to its environment.
There is no instruction board provided by the technique track, which requires agility. The track has a flexible surface (safety tiles).
There is no information board near the outdoor fitness training equipment.
The outdoor fitness training equipment is located on an artificial rubber granule turf surface, which has a sufficient contrast in shade to the floor.
The outdoor fitness training equipment is also accessible for users of wheelchairs or other assistive devices. Some of the outdoor fitness training equipment can be used when seated in a wheelchair.
