An extremely talented musician, Georg Malmstén (1902-1981) was known especially for his popular music. His evergreen melodies, children's songs and film themes have remained fresh in peoples minds. Georg Malmstén's memorial was erected on the artist's 90th birthday. It consists of a red granite stone slab and a round bronze medal with Malmstén's profile in bas-relief.
