Operation Pulse! offers those aged 12–18 a variety of hobby trials and an opportunity to plan and organise activities.

Youth centres are places where people aged 9–17 can spend their free time.

The City of Helsinki's libraries, cultural centres and youth centres offer spaces for organising events that are open to everyone.

All Helsinki residents aged 13–17 can vote and stand for election to the Youth Council. The elections are held every other year.
