The Y.E.S. Day Care Centre was established in 1993 as a private English-language kindergarten. In 1997, the parents' association Y.E.S. (Young English Speakers) entered into a purchasing agreement with the City of Vantaa. This partnership continued until 2003, when Y.E.S. officially became part of the municipal early childhood education services of the City of Vantaa.
