You can apply to vocational education through the joint application process held once a year or flexibly throughout the year through continuous admission. Vocational education also offers apprenticeship training, labour market training, and the possibility to improve previous grades.
Our guidance and admissions services provide personal guidance and support in all matters related to education and applying.
To whom and on what terms
Only those completing basic education and those without a previous qualification may apply through the joint application process held in the spring.
The criteria for continuous admission include:
- qualification- and/or programme-specific requirements
- suitability for the field
- motivation
- need for education
- prerequisites for studies: sufficient study skills, adequate Finnish language skills, and commitment to studies and completing the qualification
