Integration activities introducing participants to the Finnish language and civic skills are available for Turku residents who are within their integration period and caring for children under the age of 3 at home, as well as for other women who have arrived from third countries. Do the following
You can apply to take part:
- independently by contacting the provider of the integration activities
- through outreach work for stay-at-home mothers
- through a referral from Varha’s immigrant services
- through a referral from a Customer Advisor at International House Turku
- through a referral from Employment Services.
To whom and on what terms
You can apply to take part in the activities if you meet all of the following criteria:
- you have one or more children aged between 6 months and 3 years
- you care for your child or children at home and receive child home care allowance
- you live in Turku.
