Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism

The EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism is applied to so-called CBAM goods imported into the EU from outside the EU. These goods include certain iron and steel goods, fertilisers, aluminium and cement goods as well as hydrogen and electricity.
