To whom and on what terms

Personal wellbeing mentoring is suitable for you if you are 70 years or older, live at home in Vantaa and

  1. You do not exercise enough for your health
  2. You are able to participate in exercise counseling outside of your home
  3. You are motivated and have enough resources to make lifestyle changes

and at least one of the following applies to you:

  1. You have a fear of falling or a mildly elevated risk of falling (own experience or assessment by an expert)
  2. You have one or more risk factors for dementia (e.g. high blood pressure, diabetes, overweight) or early-stage dementia
  3. You are a caregiver and want support for your wellbeing

The primary languages of personal wellbeing mentoring are Finnish and English. The service is also available in other languages with the help of an interpreter.

Group-form wellbeing mentoring is suitable for you if you are 65–75 years old, live at home in Vantaa and

  1. You do not exercise enough for your health
  2. You are able to participate in group-form exercise counseling and exercise trials outside of your home
  3. You are motivated and have enough resources to make lifestyle changes
  4. You would like the support of a group for becoming more active in everyday life

The group-form wellbeing mentoring service and groups are organized in Finnish.
