Do the following
When your organisation needs support with international recruitment or onboarding an employee:
- Contact The Workplace Mentor Service: Get in touch by phone or email. You can also leave a contact request by visiting Monitori at Turku Market Square in person.
- Initial assessment and needs evaluation: A workplace mentor will review your organisation’s situation and recruitment needs with you. This may include recruiting international talent, matters related to work permits and settling in, or onboarding a diverse workforce.
- Tailored support: You will receive organisation-specific advice, guidance and coaching, as well as support in finding the right services and forms of assistance, such as employment and integration services and relevant official service pathways.
- Support at the start of employment: When needed, the workplace mentor can also support both the employee and the work community during the settling-in period and the initial stages of employment.
The service is free of charge and confidential for companies, employers and organisations in Turku and the surrounding region.
To whom and on what terms
The service is intended for companies in the Turku region and international employees who are about to start or have recently started working in a company. Support is available especially in situations where a company needs assistance with international recruitment, employee onboarding, or the early stages of employment.
The availability of the service and the forms of support provided are assessed based on the needs and circumstances of the company or employee.
