Background information
Imaging can be used to assist in the examination of illnesses and monitoring treatments. Imaging includes X-rays and CT scans, MRI and ultrasound scans, thermal imaging, and isotope analyses. Vital functions, such as sleep, alertness, or the brain’s electrical activity, can also be imaged. Some images can also be taken at home and forwarded to the correct party.
