Published 19/1/2026
API version 12 (OUT API) of the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue is now available for testing using the Customer Test Environment. API version 12 is released for trialling in the Customer Test Environment (formerly known as the training environment).
The API methodology are available in Scalar: https://api.palvelutietovaranto.trn.suomi.fi/api/v12/documentation/Opens in a new window.
In the initial phase, an API key is not required for testing in the Customer Test Environment. The API key will be activated later in spring 2026, with separate notification.
Testing the version 12 IN interface is not possible; the IN interface methods will only be released in the Customer Test Environment in the autumn.
Content can be created for the client test environment
The version 12 search interface can be tested with data entered into the Customer Test Environment UI. For testing, the organisation or IT supplier can create and connect services and service channels for a chosen premade test organisation in the Customer Test Environment. Please note that there is an approximately one-hour delay in the Customer Test Environment data transferring to API version 12, and therefore data does not immediately appear in API version 12.

The Customer Test Environment UI credentials are available in the Excel sheet on the page Additional information for implementers of the IN-integration. You can log in to the Customer Test Environment using the credentials of any organisation in the speadsheet.
