Instructions and news on Suomi.fi services to be available on Suomi.fi for Service Developers website
Published 30/10/2024
The Digital and Population Data Services Agency published the new Suomi.fi for Service Developers website aimed at developers of digital services in public administration today. All instructions, news and other material targeted at digital developers in Suomi.fi Services are compiled on the website.
What changed?
Moving forward, up-to-date instructions, news and disruption notices related to Suomi.fi services produced by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency will be published on the Suomi.fi for Service Developers website at kehittajille.suomi.fi.
However, you can still find news related to Suomi.fi Payments found on the State Treasury website, and the ones related to Suomi.fi maps on the National Land Survey of Finland website.
The new website provides clearly structured instructions, tools and good practices for the planning, implementation and development of digital services.
Service Management for services that require identification
Although most of the content will be moved to the new website, tasks requiring identification will still be carried out in Service Management. The following continue to be managed via Service Management:
- submission of access permits
- user management
- logging into Finnish Service Catalogue and Quality Tools
- downloading the metadata for Suomi.fi e-identification
- Suomi.fi service reports.
Redirects are in place from the contents in Service Management to the Suomi.fi for Service Developers website. However, previously saved direct links to instructions in Service Management may no longer work.
How will the Suomi.fi for Service Developers website support organisations?
The new Suomi.fi for Service Developers website provides an extensive overall picture of the national support services for digitalisation, such as Suomi.fi Services. The website also contains information about cyber and digital security and guides for the planning of risk management and responsible utilisation of AI.
The Suomi.fi for Service Developers website will help organisations digitalise their services and ensure that the services will be of a high quality.
