What kind of criteria do we have for data?

When determining the data to be used, it is important that you define quality and format criteria for the data you need:

  • Data quality affects how useful data is for your organisation. Data quality can be structured according to, such things as, how up-to-date and comprehensive it is.
  • Data format, on the other hand, has a direct impact on how your organisation can use the data.  For example, if you intend to utilise data in your information systems, the data must be in digital format and structured.
