Changing the insurance details of your vehicle

As the owner or holder of the vehicle, you can change the insurance company or the policy holder at any time during the insurance period for your vehicle.
Do the following
Contact the insurance company. Sign a new insurance contract either on the change of policy holder with your current insurance company or on the change of insurance company with a new insurance company.
No other measures required when insurance details change. The new insurance details will be updated electronically from the insurance company to the Transport Register.
If you wish, you can check from your insurance company that the insurance is valid. You can also check your vehicle’s insurance details from My e-Services.
