Organisation
The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom will be an authority in licence, registration and approval matters. The Agency will promote the transport system and safety of traffic and ensure that everyone in Finland has access to high-quality and secure communications connections and services.
The number of employees at the Agency will be around 900 at 15 locations in Finland. Finnish Transport and Communications Agency's main office is in Helsinki.
The Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi), the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) and certain functions of the Finnish Transport Agency will merge to form the new Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom on 1 January 2019.
