Apply for a maritime certificate

You can apply for maritime certificates of competency or certificates of proficiency electronically using Traficom's My e-Services. Almost every member of a ship’s crew has to have a certificate of competency related to their job, and they may also be required to have certificates of proficiency depending on the type of ship or the job on-board.
