Ordering a vehicle registration plate

Order a replacement registration plate for your vehicle in the My e-Services portal if the original plate has been lost or damaged.

If you are unable to order the registration plate electronically, you can visit an inspection station that offers registration services.

You must order the plate at an inspection station if:

• you would like to order an additional plate. Using an additional plate requires a separate register entry, which must be added at an inspection station
• the registration plate has been stolen – file a police report before ordering and take it with you to the inspection station
• you wish to change the registration number or plate type
• both registration plates have been lost
• The vehicle has a valid transfer permit.
