Nääshalli is an indoor sports facility located underground that focuses on martial arts. Nääshalli has several budo halls, a fencing hall, a boxing hall, a gymnasium, two fitness centres, a lecture hall and table tennis practice and competition facilities.

Accessibility information

The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
Space for drop-off traffic has been reserved in the parking area, in front of the main entrance, before the ramp leading underground. In special cases, the sliding door at the start of the ramp can be opened, allowing the customer to access the ramped section leading underground while remaining in the vehicle.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide.
The route has a ramp over 6 m long without an intermediate landing.

The entrance is hard to perceive but illuminated
During opening hours, the main entrance door is always kept open. When entering from inside, the threshold of the main entrance door is ramped, but it is steep and about 7 centimeters high.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.

The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually and the doorway has a low threshold.
The dressing room has sufficient room for a wheelchair and assistant. There are no lockers in the dressing room.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. There is no separate door to the shower room.
The facility does not have a sauna.

In the multipurpose sports facility, you can engage in sports such as aerobics, boxing, dancing, fencing, gym exercise, martial arts, table tennis, yoga.
The sides of some sports areas/fields have room for storing aids.
The height of the passageways in the multi-purpose arena is appropriate. The wall sockets are not on a suitable height (0.4–1.1 meters). The multi-purpose arena has a fixed PA system and a wired microphone. The alarm system (fire alarm) works with a sound signal. The personnel helps with the building of the courts, when present (e.g. temporary tape markings for parasports).

The multi-purpose arena has facilities for a variety of parasports, such as table tennis.
Table tennis: The passageway to the table tennis space is at least 1 meter wide and it includes an easily opening door and a low threshold. The legs of a standard-sized table tennis table are in the middle of the table. The playing space is less than 4 meters high. Next to the playing area, there is room for storage of a regular wheelchair / powerchair. There is no resting place for guide dogs and assistance dogs near the playing field, but there is tranquil place for them elsewhere in the multi-purpose arena.
In addition to table tennis, the space can be used for wheelchair fencing and para martial arts.
