Frequently asked questions about the Test Material Service
This page contains frequently asked questions related to the Test Material Services, its use and the test materials.
Yes. You can search the test material for personal identity codes with the new separators by selecting Browse test materials on the front page. Click the Persons tab. Use the Personal identity code separator filter to choose a separator and click Search.
It is not possible to request the personal identity code of your system to be added to the Test Material Service.
Currently, the details of test persons cannot be changed.
The test materials contain a limited number of personal data. If necessary, you can examine the personal data in more detail in the Population Information System query of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's training environment.
The test material of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the Finnish Patent and Registration Office and the National Land Survey of Finland are interoperable, i.e. they use the same personal identity codes, business IDs and property identifiers, for example.
The test materials are interoperable in the following systems, for example:
- Suomi.fi e-Authorizations
- Suomi.fi e-Identification
- Population Information System query.
The format of the JSON package corresponds to the content displayed in the Test Material Service user interface. The content stored in the package is updated if the content of the test material database changes. The title of the package includes an explanation of the data content; more detailed document on the content of individual packages is not available.
The JSON package for the test material is not in the same format as, for example, JSON for the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's modified data interface.
Data is added to the material from time to time. You can check when the material was last updated on the Topical page in the Test Material Service announcements (in Finnish).
The Test Material Service cannot be used to test the PIS modified data interface's data. You can use the PIS modified data interface's own test interface instead. Read more about using the test interfaceOpens in a new window..
Yes. The data of test persons is reset every night, which allows you to test specific issues several times.
