Management of digital security handbook

This handbook is intended for digital security specialists and management, and it
- defines the framework of reference for digital security
- describes models for consistent development of the security of a digital operating environment.
The guide describes concrete operating models and solutions suitable for different sizes and types of organisations. Its appendices contain more detailed descriptions for the implementation of risk management and continuity management, including for organisations that have the resources to implement management systems that comply with international standards.
Please note that the handbook should not be used in its entirety, but that each organisation can utilise it and apply it individually in developing its operations.
The handbook was produced as part of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency’s Development Programme for Digital Security in Public Administration (JUDO) in cooperation with the VAHTI working group, which answers to the Government’s Digital Security Management Group. The handbook was published in December 2021.
