Schedule for metadata installations

The metadata for Suomi.fi e-Identification is installed on Wednesdays

Remember to apply for the access licence well in advance

You need an access licence to use Suomi.fi e-Identification. The e-service must apply for the access licence well in advance of the planned production roll-out. The test environment can be used without access licence. Instructions for applying for the access licence can be found at Applying for an access licence.

Metadata installations are carried out once a week

Suomi.fi e-Identification metadata installations are carried out once a week on Wednesdays. Production environment metadata is checked early in the week and taken to production on Wednesdays at 9.00. All changes must be submitted no later than Sunday of the previous week to ensure that they can be checked. All metadata submitted after this date will be included in the following week’s installation.

No extra metadata installations are carried out.

Test environment metadata is checked and taken to the test environment each weekday between 13.00 and 16.00. 

The e-service must take this schedule into account and report any changes in the metadata sufficiently well in advance. Public holidays and holiday periods affect the metadata installation schedules.

Schedule for production environment metadata installations

• Apply for the access licence well in advance.
• All changes must be submitted no later than Sunday of the previous week. All metadata submitted after this date will be included in the following week’s installation.
• Dynamic metadata of the production environment is checked early in the week.
• Metadata production installation is carried out on Wednesdays at 9.00.
