Applying for an access licence

Apply for an access license well in advance of the planned start of production roll-out. The test environment is available without an access license.

You can also read the technical overview of the Suomi.fi e-Identification service. Then follow these steps:

1. Register with Service Management or find out if your organisation already has access

a) If your organisation has not previously dealt with Suomi.fi Service Management, register the details of your organisation. Read the instructions for registering your organisation in Service Management.

b) If your organisation already has a customer account with Suomi.fi Service Management, ask the representative of your organisation to send you an invitation to Service Management. You will automatically be added to your organisation’s account. You can then log in to Service ManagementOpens in a new window..

If you do not know who the main user of Service Management in your organisation is you can enquire about it from organisaatiopalvelut@dvv.fi.

2. Start to implement the service

Go to the Suomi.fi - Service ManagementOpens in a new window. and authenticate yourself strongly in the service.

3. Submit an application for an access license

Complete the access license application. There are eight points in the application form.

  1. Check the organisation’s details.
  2. Check the contact details.
  3. Add invoicing details if the service is subject to a fee for your organisation.
  4. Specify the data being sought.
  5. Add the client service details. Do not attach your metadata to the application – upload it in the Suomi.fi e-Identification management interface after the access license has been granted.
  6. Complete the data protection statement.
  7. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  8. Send the application.
