Saving and using a material package
You can save your searches in the Test Material Service as packages so that they can be reused. You can download saved packages to your computer as zip files. Packages saved in the Test Material Service can also be used by other users.
- Click Browse test materials on the front page of the Test Material Service to start creating a material package.
- Select whether you want to search for persons, companies and communities or properties.
- Select the keyword or search filters you want.
- Click Search.
- Click Save this search in a package to save the search.
- Click Create new.
- Enter a title and description for the package and click Continue.
- Enter a title and description for the search to be saved and click Continue.
- Check the information you have entered and select Create package.
- You can find saved packages by clicking View packages on the front page of the Test Material Service.
- Click See more to view the package you saved.
- Click Download package to download the package to your computer.
- Extract the zip package. With Windows, you can extract a zip file by right clicking the file and selecting Extract All.
- Open the resulting JSON file with a text editor, such as Word, Notepad or WordPad. Use the search function to check that the test cases you need are in the materials.
- Click Browse test materials on the front page of the Test Material Service to start creating a material package.

- Click Save this search in a package to save the search.
- Click Select template.
- Select the package you want to edit and click Continue.
- Enter a title and description for the package and click Continue.
- Enter a title and description for the search to be saved and click Continue.
- Check the information you have entered and select Create package.
- You can find saved packages by clicking View packages on the front page of the Test Material Service.
- Click See more to view the package you saved.
- Click Download package to download the package to your computer.
