Changes to Suomi.fi e-Identification certificate practices

In spring 2026, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency will organise support clinics to offer practical help and guidance for the activation and use of Suomi.fi Messages.

The support for implementations is out of office from December 22nd 2025 until January 6th 2026. During that time, your message is not forwarded.

In early 2026, the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer will introduce the ACME feature (Automated Certificate Management Environment).

As of 2 December 2025, you will get a reminder during Suomi.fi e-Identification if you have any new unread messages in Suomi.fi Messages.
