The VAHTI data protection appendix is intended as a template document for procurements in which the supplier (processor) processes the customer’s (controller’s) personal data on behalf of the customer.

The appendix on the processing of personal data describes what personal data the supplier or its subcontractor processes when providing a service in accordance with the contract.

The data protection appendix and the description of the processing of personal data have been prepared in cooperation with the Information Security Division under the Information Management Board, Hansel and the Government ICT Centre Valtori. Both materials are part of the recommendation on data security of procurements and the related appendices, which are available on the website of the Information Management Board.

The materials were published in May 2023.
