Responsibilities of the client organisation

The client organisation is responsible for carrying out the functional testing of the connected service. It has to also validate that the transferred data is correct and that the displayed format is correct. In addition, the client organisation cooperates with the Digital and Population Data Services Agency to create test cases of use cases. The client organisation also has to provide example data from the service for testing. The use of actual data in testing is not allowed.

Test cases and service testing against test cases

Web Service testers handle the technical testing of the connected service and any stress testing in the Web Service. The client organisation has to agree on the testing well in advance if it wants it to be done at a certain time. Testing takes about one week. The purpose of test cases is to test the correctness of the data in the Web Service.

Correcting errors

Errors detected during testing are recorded. Critical errors have to be corrected before going to production.
