The use cases for logging in and out must be implemented in the testing or development environment of the e-service. Because Suomi.fi e-Identification contains a single sign-on functionality, each e-service connected to it must also support single logout. What this means in practice is that the e-service must support six use cases in relation to identification:

• sending an identification request
• receiving an identification response
• sending a logout request
• receiving a logout request
• receiving a logout response
• sending a logout response.

Implement and test all use cases before production roll-out.
