Publication of a datamodel
Normally, all edits are made to the datamodel in Draft status, i.e. to a working version that is only visible to editors in the same organisation. A datamodel that is visible to everyone must be published separately.
Instructions:
- Go to the Details tab and select Create release of data model from the Actions drop-down menu. Please note that during the publication phase of the application profile, there is a validation check that shows the modeler any deficiencies, such as associations without references to the core data model. If you see this window, refer to the instructions below.
- The tool will show you a window with the options for publishing.
- Select the desired status and then give a version number to the datamodel. For more information about versioning a datamodel, see Versioning a datamodel.
- Click the Publish button or Cancel if you don't want to continue publishing.
