Instructions for the Terminologies tool

Select the desired user interface language from the drop-down menu next to the search field in the top bar.

You can search for terminologies or concepts by entering a search word in the search field in the top bar. After this, press Enter or click the magnifier icon.

Below the information in the top bar, you will see a list of all the terminologies of the tool in alphabetical order. To view the contents of a terminology, click its name in the list. You can read more about the contents of terminologies on the Terminology front pageOpens in a new window..

The Terminologies tool can be navigated with the help of the navigation path. You can return to the front page by clicking the Terminologies link at the beginning of the path.  

Similarly, you can return from a concept to the front page of the terminology by clicking the name of the terminology on the navigation path.

You can filter the search for terminologies on the sidebars in the following ways:

• You can perform a word search on terminologies and concepts in the same way as the search in the top bar (cf. section Search and user interface language).
• If you want to see only the terminologies created by a specific organisation, select the organisation concerned from the drop-down menu.
• To see the terminologies in a specific language first, select the desired language
• You can also select the statuses that the terminologies must have in order to be shown on the list. The options are: Valid, Draft, Superseded, Retired.
• In addition, you can select the information domains that the terminologies must belong to in order to be shown on the list.

The search filters used will be shown as pill-shaped elements above the terminology list. You can remove an individual search filter by clicking the corresponding pill.
