Editing the information on a concept
If you have the right to edit the terminology that the concept belongs to, you can start editing the concept by clicking Edit concept button.
To start with, you must provide the concept with terms in all the languages of the terminology.
When you add the concept through a user interface, you must also give the new concept an identifier:
- The identifier must begin with a lower-case letter and it must be 2–32 characters long. The permitted characters are a–z, 0–9, “_” and “-” (underscore and hyphen). For example: xyz123.
- The identifier will be part of the web address of the concept, like this: https:// /sanastot.suomi.fi/terminology/terminologyID/concept/conceptID
If you add concepts via a file, the Terminologies tool will automatically give them an identifier.
