Test tools in the e-Identification test environment
In the Suomi.fi e-Identification test environment, you can use the test tokens provided by banks as well as the e-Identification service's own test token. In addition, the client organisation can acquire mobile certificates for test purposes from telephone operators or test certificate cards from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
Test identifier
The test identifier (urn: oid: 1.2.246.517.3002.110.999) can be used with the codes given in the table below.
The test token (urn:oid:1.2.246.517.3002.110.999) can be used, for example, with the identifiers listed in the following table. There are more identifiers in the Test Material ServiceOpens in a new window.. Read how to request IDs to Test Material Service.
The test token’s functions correspond to Finnish tokens, which include bank identification, mobile certificate and a certificate card. Based on data returned by the Finnish tokens, the test system carried out a query in the Population Information System. If the personal identity code supplied for the token is not found in the test data, the result corresponds to a VTJ error condition.
Please note that if the service does not require a VTJ verification (VtjVerificationRequired = false), and the used identity cannot be found in the test data, the test token will return generated data on the basis of the supplied personal identity code.

Test codes provided by the Banks
The banks' test identification services offer some test users. The table below contains the test code message as well as the test person number and the name information associated with the code.
The banks' test identification services will be renewed from time to time and therefore it is possible that all test users will no longer function. For automatic tests, it is better to use the Test Identifier with “Social sec.no” from Table 1.

Test identification tool for eIDAS
In the test environment, there is a test identification tool to test the eIDAS identification. It allows you to test how eIDAS identification behaves in the e-service. The test identification tool returns the selected country's identification tool's user attributes to the e-service. No test codes are required to use the test identification tool, the tool will be returning the data automatically.
The EIDAS test identification tool can be used when the eIDAS LoA levels have been defined in the e-service's metadata.
Finnish Authenticator
Using the Finnish Authenticator serviceOpens in a new window. in the Suomi.fi e-Identification production environment is subject to a separate agreement.
Testing the visible functionality of the token in the client service is possible in the test environment by specifying the following identifier in the token/level list: urn:oid:1.2.246.517.3002.110.7
The attribute provided by the token must be added to the data provided to the client service. The attribute corresponds to the Finnish personal identity code and the eIDAS Person Identifier.
