Things to consider when outsourcing
If you outsource joining the Data Exchange Layer or the installation and maintenance of the security server, make sure that you have the necessary information and agreements in place to start the deployment process.
Also ensure that all security and data protection requirements are met when you outsource the joining to the Data Exchange Layer. Take the requirements into account, for example, when selecting the operating environment for the security server. The data processed on the security server might restrict the geographical locations in which the data can be processed. This restriction may also come from outside your organisation.
