Access and intellectual property rights

The Suomi.fi Payments service and the related intellectual property rights are owned by the vendor of the service.

All payment and identification information is transmitted via an encrypted connection to the financial institution. Personal data is used for performing payment service transactions, developing the service provided by the vendor, and for statistical and customer service-related purposes. The processing of personal data is based on section 8 of the Personal Data Act.

The content produced for the service (guidelines, service descriptions) is available free of charge to all customer organisations who have joined the service.
